empty wine bottles???

I'm going out on a limb guessing that some of you might have empty wine bottles,
if not maybe a neighbor has a few! :)

Just simple ideas for something you have at home,
and they look great with only a stem or two.

Organic and easy.

Oh no! I'm all out of empties, I better get drinking!
It just goes to show how something so 'everyday' can be used to add beauty to our homes. I like the ones corralled.

Love this idea, I've seen it but have never done it. Thanks for the reminder.

I love this idea and that the bottles are of a few different colors. I am hosting a neighborhood ladies coffee (really an evening of drinking wine) and will hold on to some of the "better looking" bottles. Love the effect of a single stem in each bottle.

I love using bottles as vases! No need to store a bunch of vases AND you can just toss a bottle if you get tired of it or if it's in the way!

Love these ideas and might just be able to find a bottle or two....! This made me think of this pendant light I recently saw: http://www.lightinguniverse.com/mini-pendants/meyda-tiffany-custom-wine-bottle-mini-pendant_g391929.html

I've tossed enough into the recycle bin to make the recyclers think I might have a problem. I might need to rescue a few. Love these ideas! Thanks for sharing.

Lol! I may have a few around... Have you seen those candles (they look like corks) that you can put in your empty wine bottle? They are really pretty on the table!

I wish I had some pretty bottles like that in my trash. I guess I'm going to have to head on over to my neighbors trash or start dumpster diving. Please don't make me do that! I just love this idea. I may use milk bottles from my parents dairy instead.

Will have to remember this too! We keep the corks but never the bottles - they always end up in the recycling bin.

I will have to go drink more wine to try these ideas! :) Great summer ideas!! I have also seen empty wine bottles with the bottom half wrapped with twine, for a rustic look. So many cool ideas to try! Thanks for these inspiration images.

perfect timing. my neighboors and I just finished off a few of my "almost empty" bottles. I'll have to pick up a few flowers tomorrow, and throw something together. you never cease to inspire me!
